Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use BizNaija's marketplace, business directory or sales CRM. By using BizNaija you agree to them. They are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
1. Accounts
You must be 18 or older and give accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account and for the team members you invite to your business.
2. Marketplace and directory
- BizNaija connects buyers, sellers and businesses. Unless we say otherwise for a specific feature, we are not a party to sales between users and do not hold buyers' money.
- Adverts and profiles must be truthful and legal. We may review, hold or remove content and suspend accounts to protect users from scams.
- A "Verified" badge means we checked certain documents. It is not a guarantee of any item, service or business.
- Reviews must reflect a genuine experience.
3. Subscriptions
- The Business Directory and Sales CRM have free and paid plans, and combined bundles. Current prices are on the pricing page in naira.
- Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance. A plan starts only after Paystack confirms your payment.
- Plans do not renew automatically. Before your renewal date you can pay again to continue. If you do not renew, paid features keep working for a short grace period and then your business moves to the free plan. Your data is kept.
- Upgrading starts the new plan immediately for a fresh billing period. Switching to a free plan takes effect at the end of the period you paid for.
- We may change prices with advance notice; changes apply from your next payment.
- Plan limits (for example users, products or branches) are enforced automatically.
4. Payments and refunds
Payments are processed by Paystack. Fees already paid are not refundable for partial periods, except where Nigerian consumer protection law requires a refund or we charged you in error. If you were charged but did not receive your plan, contact us with your payment reference and we will fix it or refund you.
5. Your data and CRM records
You own the content and customer records you add. You give us permission to host and display them to provide the service. You must have the right to store your customers' data and must follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. See our privacy policy.
6. Prohibited use
No fraud, scams, illegal or counterfeit goods, harassment, spam, scraping, or attempts to get around security or plan limits.
7. Liability
BizNaija is provided as available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from dealings between users, and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the previous 12 months.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using BizNaija at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
